Unseen Steam is a multi-platform, on-demand digital channel of niche content for transport enthusiasts.
DMA’s brief was to take an uncatalogued archive of vintage railway films and transform it into a digital record of Britain’s transport heritage.
We developed a content-led digital marketing strategy around highly-targeted editorial optimised for multiple channels.
The Unseen Steam website formed the backbone of this strategy, as home to a library of hundreds of rare film clips enhanced with compelling daily news and analysis, live event coverage and feature videos.
We were able to maximise the impact of the content through direct and social media marketing, cultivating an engaged network of users from a highly targeted demographic.
